    2014 - maintenant Develop business strategies (Licensing, Promotion and Retail) to benefit long term revenue growth and marketing exposure for the Pokémon brand across EMEA. Set up the Market Development operations for EMEA and manage the Market Development Team (3 staff). Act as the primary contact with licensees, promotion agencies, and retailers. Work in close collaboration with US headquarters to coordinate efforts with key partners (e.g. Nintendo, Trading Card distributors, Broadcasters).

    • Management: Liaise with licensees, retailers, key partners and internal departments to support licensee sales efforts, including marketing, brand assurance/product development, retail, business development, TV, legal, finance, digital, and public relations. Participate in budget processes in coordination with Director and VP.

    • Licensing: Define and implement key category strategies and initiatives across the region. Identify potential licensees and develop sales strategies to secure new partners on a pan-regional and local territory basis. Responsibilities include strategizing, pitching, negotiating contract deal points and servicing EMEA-based licensed deals.

    • Retail: Supervise and coordinate cross-category activations at retail (entertainment, toys & games, mass market, specialists, etc.). Manage all aspects of regional and global accounts, including product development, line plans, sales plans, marketing in order to maximize revenue and achieve financial targets.

    • Promotion: Interface with key clients and promotion agencies (both regionally and locally) as required to include pitching and negotiating promotion deals (food & drinks, QSR, etc.). In coordination with global teams, increase exposure of the Pokémon brand to kids and young adults through unique marketing partnerships with industry leading companies.

  • Wittiz - Licensing Manager – Mobile App

    2013 - 2014 Managed the licensing strategy for a brand new digital entertainment & video sharing mobile application in the UK and France.

    • Developed & implemented the company’s growth strategy by working closely with the MD. Managed all aspects of deal development (prospecting, sourcing, negotiating and closing)

    • Evaluated prospective deals and deal strategy (e.g. financial modelling and operational impact) for the UK. Conducted market studies on licensors’ environment to obtain rights for new features

    • Worked in partnership with internal teams (e.g. Product Development, Programmers, Content Operations, Legal) and resources to ensure successful implementations of the agreed plan

    • Created and developed the digital marketing and PR plans for the British market in collaboration with local marketing and PR agencies. Created and implemented the online retail plan for France
  • WARNER BROS. ENTERTAINMENT - International Product Manager

    Neuilly-sur-Seine 2012 - 2012 Developed local marketing plans and budgets, and managed the Warner Bros. Consumer Products partners for assigned brands (Harry Potter, Batman, Looney Tunes) in France and Benelux.

    • Implemented new strategic partnerships to expand the number of partners based on analysis of market conditions and product performances. New partners in the B2B space increased by 5% over 6 months

    • Negotiated co-operative marketing plans with key partners to gain new customers in the B2C space and maximised sales from licensing agreements. Revenues increased by 6% over 6 months

    • Monitored performance and competitive developments to launch new offerings. Presented recommendations based on potential ROI for the VP of France to implement strategic partnership plans

    2007 - 2010 Managed French key accounts, content partnerships, marketing & sales plans, as well as international business development strategies for a new digital movie service launched by France’s leading video rental retailer.

    • Negotiated with content providers regarding contractual and financial issues for the French market. Signed deals with 20+ partners in 6 months for 5,000 titles which included premium share of royalties

    • Defined and managed commercial priorities for key accounts. Developed strategies based on domestic market studies which led to the average shopping basket increasing by 200% over a 6 month period

    • Led a 4 member team and acted as a product representative to ensure departmental objectives were achieved. Outperformed target by 20% by managing the digitization of 5,000 movies in 5 months

    • Developed international business development strategies and attended industry trade shows. Conducted meetings with the CEOs of 3 leading companies to expand the business into international markets
  • ELYSEES EDITIONS (SONY PICTURES HOME ENTERTAINMENT Distribution) - Product Manager

    2005 - 2007 Managed marketing and sales plans as well as video post production activities for an independent French video publisher whose movies were under BBC Worldwide, Granada/ITV, and Aardman Studios licensees.

    • Maintained an operating budget of €1 million. Launched 7 new products per month, which generated €400,000 average revenue. Sales increased by 8% over 1 year

    • Negotiated distribution agreements with 3 different partners for the French market. Defined pricing strategies based on sales analytics and reported on key distributors

    • Decreased costs, maximised post-production activities, and minimised operational risks through supplier selection and negotiation (dubbing studios and video laboratories). Costs decreased by 4% over 1 year

    • Co-ordinated the creative execution of promotional videos, and online campaign work by liaising with key international content providers. Managed up to 5 campaigns simultaneously
