  • Genitech Tunisie - Tunisian branch builder and manager

    2008 - 2011 Built up the Tunisian branch from scratch: from an empty room to a fully efficient IT team.
    Assumed duties of branch manager (officially labeled : Chief Technical Officer).

    * Annual business income : between 100 and 1000 k€
    * 30 working engineer on 23 projects
    * Lead over 250 job interviews
    * Built a technical and IQ training based on personal and cultural strengths and weaknesses
    * Ensured employees safety and salaries during the Tunisian revolution of 2011

    * Conception and development (C++, XML-CIM, Electrical engineering)
    * Reverse engineering of old versions (Cobol and Fortran)
    * Make results match on 4 TB data, involving a lot of dedicated tools development (Perl, Java)
    * Integrate inside a GIS production environment (Citrix), debugging and tuning interfaces (GIS, SmallWorld, Magik), conceiving and deploying massive tests (Emacs, Cygwin …)
