My education, background and experience is in life insurance and finance industry's. I have strong skills, an astute management focus and excellent problem solving skills.

I graduated from a prestigious French University with a bachelor degree in statistics and financial engineering and I majored in market pricing calculations and risk evaluation.

After working for a large European Insurance company as an Actuary Engineer where I conducted technical analysis, financial and statistical modelling (SAS and VBA programs, Profit & Loss calculation, valuation of portfolios (Embedded Value - Solvency2)), and after traveling in Australia for 2 years (to learn English), I'm now based in UK where I'm working as an Actuarial Consultant. I am now Actuary of the French Institut des Actuaires and expert on the actuairal solution AFM (IBM Algo Fianancial Modeler).

  • IBM Risk Analytics - Actuarial Modelling Consultant

    2012 - maintenant Part of the production/support team and close to the pre-sales team, I'm working mainly on the following solutions : Algo Financial Modeller (AFM), Algo Audit and Compliance (AAC) and AFM Enterprise (AFME).
    • Updated the Standard Code that include different types of products from different countries
    • Working on linking buy-side and sell-side solutions in order to improve the ALM offers

  • Algorithmics - Actuarial Modelling Consultant

    FONTAINEBLEAU 2011 - 2012 Part of the production team, I'm focus on the insurance side working on the following solutions : Algo Financial Modeller (AFM), Algo Audit and Compliance (AAC) and AFM Enterprise (AFME).
    • Involved in the modelling of two US products (Deferred Annuities & Universal Life)
    • Updated the Helper Tab program (Solvency2) according to the L2 text
    • Performed trainings in French and English

  • Australian's companies - Abroad Experience

    2009 - 2011 Left to learn English and to discover a new culture.
    • Road trip around Australia and travelling in Thailand, Hong Kong, Cambodia,
    New Zealand and Fiji.
    • Settled down in Melbourne for the second year, I’ve done different jobs to
    live. I supervised some assignments and those made me improve my management
    and organization skills’.

    I also got two positions in the field of finance:
    • Performed Client Scenarios, a three years sales forecast and income
    statement for an Australian start-up.
    • Filling clerk for Heinz Watties Australia.

  • Caisse Nationale des Caisses Epargne - Assistant Trader

    2007 - 2007 Developed automated VBA program which enabled traders to track and monitor their positions, saving users five hours manual input per week and associated senior trader's labour costs.

  • Generali Conseil - Actuary Engineer

    2007 - 2009 -Performed deterministic embedded value calculations on the savings portfolio (approx. EUR 1.5M equiv. AUD$ 2.25M) using modeling software package (Prophet).
    -Created a tool to predict the efficiency of ten insurance products and improved the management process. Built a second program to automate recurrent processes. Both programs saved users up to two days per month.

  • Gan Assurances - Actuary Trainee

    2005 - 2005 - Collaborated with Actuary on analysis of the loss ratio of the long and short-term disability portfolio to assess the profitability of the company's different insurance products.
    - Created a short-term disability table and programs were used by the department to manage the portfolio and set up prices.

  • Aton S2E - Assistant Accountant

    2004 - 2005 - Supported the C.E.O/ business owner and was responsible for the company's invoices, payroll data, banking reconciliation and cost accounting.

  • Production Toni Comiti / M6 - Assistant Accountant

    2003 - 2003 Responsible for reconciliation, payroll data/ payslips and basic accounting principles using software packages; Saari and Heaven.
