Diplômée en Sciences Politique et titulaire d'un Master an Affaires et Relations Internationales, je poursuis une carrière dans le domaine du développement et de l'aide humanitaire. J'ai une expérience variée dans le domaine de la recherche de fonds, de la gestion de projet et de budget. Je suis familière avec le travail d'organisations internationales telles que les Nations Unies. Une partie importante de mon poste actuelle est base sur l'interaction avec des réfugiés et demandeurs d'asile, je sais donc travailler sous pression et avec des personnes vulnérables, mineures, et victimes de violences. J'apprécie le travail en équipe mais je suis aussi autonome.

    2014 - maintenant The Refugee Legal Aid Project provides legal assistance to asylum seekers and refugees concerning their RSD and resettlement claims.

    - Interview refugees and evaluate resettlement claim
    - Refer cases to the UNHCR
    - Present workshops on Refugee Status and first instance interview
    - Autonomously handle caselog
    - Work with interpretors
    - Deal with vulnerable clients, minors, SGBV and torture survivors

    Also volunteered as a Self-defense trainer for women.

  • The African Refugee Development Center - ID / RSD Intern

    2013 - 2013 (AAA team) - ARDC Israel is a non-profit organization by refugees and Israeli citizens to assist, support and empower refugees and asylum seekers in Israel. It also advocates for the rights of refugees and asylum seekers and for a humane and fair Israeli asylum policy. The ARDC's work includes individual counseling, humanitarian aid, education, community
    development, awareness raising and policy initiatives. The ARDC is funded by the
    UNHCR, the European Union, the US State Department, the US Embassy in
    Israel, the royal Netherlands Embassy ... The Asylum Application Assistance
    (AAA) team provides paralegal counsel for asylum seekers within the frame of the
    UN Refugees Convention and protocol and of the Israeli Law.

    As an Identity Claims and Refugee Status Determination (ID/RSD) intern, I undertake various
    tasks in a multicultural work environment :
    - Research Country of Origin
    Information
    - Interview asylum seekers, work with interpretors - Help clients fill in
    RSD applications
    - Help clients gather documents relevant to their claim

  • Associtation of Upper Egypt for Education and Development - Project development assistant

    2010 - 2011 The Associtation of Upper Egypt for Education and Development is an
    association working on spreading developmental services to the communities in
    Upper Egypt (health, nutrition, youth and women empowerment programs). It
    heads about 30 schools in Upper Egypt, in order to give children in rural areas
    access to a quality education.
    As an intern in the Project devlopment and monitoring department, I undertook a variety of tasks :
    - Develop school
    refurbishing projects
    - Write reports to donors
    - Fill funding demands
