Function 1: Package Development
Directly responsible for the entire management of project stage referred to Development of standard packs, including, among other activities: project sample management, project coordination with manufacturers or management of items in SAP.
Shared responsibility together with the sales team member involved in the project stage referred to as Quotation. The Package Developer drafts offers drawing on information provided by sales team member and in accordance with the organization’s established procedures and/or work instructions.
Prepare the planning for the two assigned stages of the project, establishing timelines for each phase.
Register new items and introduce modifications to articles in SAP in accordance with established company procedures.
Maintain on‐going and open communication with the assigned sales team member, the customers and manufacturers.
Participate actively in identification of the most suitable packaging to meet the requirements of each project / customer.
Coordinate continuous improvement in the Package Development area together with the other Team Leaders and Package Development Manager.
Function 2: Sourcing
Coordinate the best purchasing conditions through negotiation of each specific project with manufacturers.
Lead regular meetings held to coordinate and analyze projects on every product area.
Lead suppliers, manufacturers and sector trade fairs visits when required.
Function 3: Client Services
Ensure orders validation, compliance and approvals of newly developed items.
Execute the analysis of customer satisfaction evaluations in relation to compliance with their needs regarding the product and service pursuant to the system established by the organization.
Coordinate visits to customers affecting the team and packs under her/his responsibility.
Function 4: Quality Maintenance and Improvement.
Coordinate the activities of opening, compiling of documentation and information, solving and closure of Non‐Conformities.
Assure that that inspections and verification of partial or final project samples are managed correctly in the team.
Be responsible of the evaluations of quality requirements established by the organization in order to manage a development with a manufacturer.
Coordinate the compliance with business, departmental and personal objectives corresponding to the Package Development Department Team under her/his responsibility.
Manage improvement task forces together with other Quadpack departments.
