  2013 - 2014 I was hired by the Institute ( IES ) to conduct stakeholder consultation in
  a website and a brochure to convey the progress of this United Nations Development Programmefunded FORESEEN forest monitoring project. Finally, I reported to UNDP Guyana on behalf of IES.

• United Nations Office - Volunteer reporter

  2011 - 2011 United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction
  During this biennal UN Global Platform gathering government representatives, NGOs, scientists,practitioners, and UN organizations, I volunteered to :
  * identify key words during plenary sessions and
  * report on their contextual usage by the panelists.

• Ferðakompaníið - Tour guide

  2002 - 2012 I have guided foreign groups of up to 20 people in Iceland for a period of 1-2 weeks at a time for 10 consecutive years. Autonomous while traveling, I :
  * organized hikes according to group ability,
  * transferred my knowledge about Iceland to my clients,
  * developed logistic ability,
  * ensured communication between locals and clients and
  * solved urgent problems in remote places and relatively hostile conditions.
