En résumé

    • Segmentation of items purchased (ABC method) and deployment of purchasing strategies according to the Kraljic matrix liaising with the global strategy initiated by our General Manager.
    • Rationalization of the supplier panel by focusing on reducing single source suppliers (categories A and B). Switching category C suppliers to single source.
    • Manage emergencies. Chase up suppliers.
    • Other administrative tasks.

    • I allowed my manager and the design office to focus on their respective work by relieving them of a set of time-consuming tasks (consultation of suppliers, negotiation of deadlines and prices, order taking, invoicing, finding solutions to delivery/customs problems, dispute resolution).
