Mikael is founding partner at Bluegrass Consulting. Clients will appreciate Mikael’s pragmatic and structured no-nonsense approach and his program & change management skills. A changing & growing organization is his natural habitat.
Before, Mikael was COO of S&V Management Consultants. Mikael has a large track record of consultancy and IT projects in the areas of process optimisation, quality management and program management.
Mikael started his carreer in Compex, with an initial focus on LIMS implementations. He was the pioneer for implementing Unilab-LIMS in the life science business. He contributed further to the succesfull growth of Compex, by leading the LIMS unit, co-developping the US branch and leading the R&D team of Compex prior to acquisition by Siemens. After the acquisition, he integrated the R&D Unit in an international context.
Mikael graduated in 1995 as Bio-Engineer at the University of Ghent, after a international academical year at ENSBANA (Ecole National Supérieure de Biologie Appliquée à la Nutrition & à l’Alimentation, Dijon, France). He completed his studies with a fulltime Master in Business Administration (PUB – Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School, Belgium).
Mikael has built up a lot of industry experience through many projects for both multi-nationals and mid-sized companies. Mikael has amongst others been active in process and discrete industries like manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, metal,.. and service industries.
