Description of the involved activities :
-Coordinates and supervises all pipeline construction activities with client, supervisors and sub-contractors.
-Directs sub-contractor and supports all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
-Understands the project plans, specifications and the project requirements.
-Maintains positive relationships with Client, sub-contractors, reporting authority, field supervisors and other discipline staff.
-Prepares schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list.
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
-Ensures all supervisors and sub-contractors are adhering to the company/ project safety policy.
-Maintains an organized job site, including the construction office.
Prepare for the intervention of the suppliers (schedule of on-site visit)
-Coordination with the agencies of controls / or the certification of the equipment ONML / ARH ..........etc
-Coordination with DML for the achievement of the picages supports
-Establishment of PV's of achievement of the work with the client
-Presentation in view of approval of attachments on the work carried out at the client
-Coordination with the local agencies (Daira, Sonalgaz, PTT, national Gendarmerie and civil protection).
-Followed the work of lifted topographic and the hydrostatic tests of tancons executed.
-Reception of the equipment on site. "Audits of the work carried out by subcontractors (attachments).
-Coordination with the technical department with a view to the establishment of field plans & tables of inquiry" As built".
-Coordination with the expert land tenure for the establishments of the compensation records of damage control & Out grip .

Responsibilities Include:
1) Mechanical Superintendent.
2) Coordinates and supervises all Equipements construction activities with client, supervisors and sub-contractors.
3) Installation &Alignment of (rotating-static-S.S.) equipments and direct sub-contactors during erection
4) Supervise and Direct Sub-Contractors Engineers durind erection
5) Insure that the Sub-Contractors perform their given tasks properly and follow our instructions.
6) Maintain amicable working relationship between Saipem & Sub-Contractors.
7) Check , approved lifting plan and erect for heavy equipment.
8) Coordinate between material dep. And Logistics Office.
9) Preservation for equipment's.
10) Make sure that all materials are corresponding to our specifications and drawings.
11) Make sure that all welding and fit-up are according the procedures and specifications
12) Achieve and check test package for hydro and pneumatic test.
13) Responsible about expedition spools from fabrication shop to the site.

Main activities:
- Perform technical tasks related with design, verification or study activities of static and packaged equipment’s;
- Plan, co-ordinate and control the development of Equipment and Packages Engineering for a Project activities in accordance with project/client requirements;
- Erection of static equipment’s (Pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, storage tanks and filters) and skid packages (chemical injection packages, desalination packages, filtration packages…etc.);
- Interface with other engineering departments (Civil, Piping, Instrumentation quality, HSE and process) as well as management;
- Manage Vendor’s order execution and follow-up of vendor detailed drawings and packages satisfying approved requisition & purchase order, project client/contractor specifications, standard drawings,
- Review of Vendor’s Installation Procedures, Inspection and Test Plan, Welding Procedure, NDE Procedure, Testing Procedure
(Hydrotest or Pneumatic) and other quality related documents.
- Perform bid technical evaluation and manage clarifications with Vendors,
- Provide technical support to procurement/commercial department for managing Vendor’s qualification and offers.
- Provide technical support for Material selection on critical services .
- Optimises the technical solutions ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance
- Leading meeting with Vendor and sub-contractors;

Ensures the management of commercial bids for projects in order to optimize success in contracts awarding and maximising Company commercial results.
Tasks :
- Develops the Proposal Plan;
- Organises and holds the bid kick-off meeting;
- Defines the bid cost structure, with the support of the Onshore Estimator;
- Manages the interfaces with Partners and Client;
- Ensure definition of the scope of work of each party involved in the bid;
- Analyses Contract requirements and conditions;
- Ensure definition of the cost estimate of materials developed by the Onshore Estimator;
- Prepares the bidding documents for the subcontract RFQ’s;
- Verify the cost estimates of subcontracts developed by the Onshore Estimator;
- Scheduling
- Identifies the pre-bid agreements to be completed, if necessary;
- Approves the cost estimate of internally performed activities developed by the Onshore Estimator and based on the evaluations made by the other technical departments (engineering, procurement,assets management);
- Approves the preliminary project cash flow developed by the Onshore Estimator;
- Ensure definition of the project organisation, overall project schedule, overall execution plan,overall resources plan developed by the Operations Coordinator;
- Ensure integration proposal packages prepared by the individual Operating Companies and Proposal Partners (if any) and reconcile possible discrepancies;
- Submits the proposal to the Client.
- Ensure that Risks and Opportunities Analysis is correctly applied, guarantying, in collaboration with the support functions and through ROBS (Risks and Opportunities Breakdown Structure):
In prospect phase: the definition of a list of the major risks qualitatively evaluated in coherence with Golden Rules;
In proposal phase: the definition of risk register through Risks and Opportunities methodology application.
