Drilling Engineer and Drilling Supervisor with Eni Tunisia BV:
* Well Engineering studies:
* Prepare Drilling programs : Lesson learned and NPT evaluation from offset wells, casing design using Landmark, Pore Pressure/Fracture Pressure determination, Bit selection Cost Estimation (Well AFE's), ;
* Application of standard operations procedures & best practices;
* Wellhead, casing and cementing programs designed to meet expected conditions and ensure well integrity;
* Drilling mud program designed to meet expected conditions;
* Bit selection, hydraulics and drilling parameters; ;
* Bottomhole assembly program;
* Directional drilling program; ;
* Well evaluation program (LWD and/or wireline logging, coring);
* Assessment of special drilling problems that might be encountered (lost circulation, well control, wellbore stability, stuck pipe);
* Abandonment program (if applicable); ;
* Prepares cost estimates and AFE's for the drilling phase,
* Analyzes drilling performance and recommends changes in procedures and equipment based on findings,
* Prepare Invitation To Tender documents (Technical Specification, Business case and Scoring model) and technical evaluation of submitted Bidders,
* Check program with services company (drilling bits, drilling fluids, downhole tools, wellheads and tubulars...) & evaluate contractor's performances,
* Prepare DWOP, Final well reports, follow up daily drilling reports and ensure reporting is accurate with regards to operations time coding,
* Perform an audit visit to Bidders facilities while tendering evaluation.
* Field Mission: Rig Inspection, attend special operations on rig site (Run casing, cementing, Liner, hydraulic fracturing, directional operations...), ;
* Night Drilling Supervisor (Drilling, Workover & Completion) :
* Night shift supervision of well site drilling operations and coordination for other subsurface operations of testing, completion, work-over.
* Assist DSV in preparing Standing Instructions for operations, Job Safety Analysis and decision making, recommending cost effective solutions for drilling hazards.
* Design & calculation of optimum drilling parameters & hydraulics to attain maximum rate of penetration without compromising hole stability.
* Working with mutual understanding of well-site geologist, rig crew, production and service company personnel to take effective decisions for efficient execution of operations
* Communication with office Superintendent for effective support in execution of planned programs.
* 24 Hrs operations reports including: DDRs, tallies, casing & cementing reports on 'Open Wells'
* Casing tallies & Cement calculations, 5 days planner, Bit & BHA records, Maintain Cost sheets of Rig, Rental tools & other services, Well Consumables report, Material and administration reports, Logistics.
* Time Analysis report, RIH POOH Normalization report, NPT reports, End of well reports proposing recommendations / lessons learnt for optimization of next wells.
* Pre-Spud audit and inspection of Rig equipment in compliance with contract & company policies.
* Making well-timed well-site calls for the movement of services companies, their equipment and rental tools to ensure minimum standby charges.
* Inspection of material and inventory in accordance with purchase orders.
Implementation of well-site HSE policies for creating safe and healthy working environment.
* Mentoring trainees.
