Spécialiste de l'hébergement à valeur ajoutée depuis plus de 15 ans, NC2 est leader en région Rhône-Alpes avec 3 DataCenters. NC2 est également capable de fournir des prestations d’infogérance mais aussi des installations techniques OnPremise à ses clients.
Mes missions consistent à définir, piloter, opérer et suivre les projets des clients NC2 que ce soit pour l’externalisation de leur système d’information ou l’intégration d’un nouveau produit dans leur SI.

Nouvelle histoire, nouvel environnement … Fin 2010, la société Grant Thornton (audit/expertise comtpable, commissaires aux comptes et société d’avocat d’environ 1300 Collaborateurs en France et membre d’un réseau international) souhaite prendre la direction de la virtualisation à grande échelle. Embauché pour la nouvelle année 2012, ma priorité est portée sur le projet de refonte global de l’infrastructure du SI (central mais aussi d’agence).
La DSI donne les premières lignes … L’équipe est à l’aise avec Windows. Système d’exploitation qui compose la totalité de son parc serveur et client. Les RTO/RPO sont définis … La vision de l’avenir du SI est clair dans la tête de chacun.
Après un an et demi de préparation/installation, nous entrons dans l’étape de migration en juin 2013. L’environnement est maintenant composé de 2 centres informatiques.
Ces deux datacenters sont dorénavant opérationnels en mode ACTIF (Production et pré production)/PASSIF (PRA + Bac à sable pour développements) utilisant les méthodes de réplication constructeurs (Réplication SAN) mais aussi éditeurs (Hyper V Replica).
Refonte du WAN sur un réseau privée opérateur et mise en place d’une supervision des transmissions.
De plus, Grant Thornton connait une forte croissance externe, intégrer un nouveau bureau n’est jamais facile. Plusieurs bureaux vont bénéficier de mon aide pour rejoindre le réseau GT. C’est le cas de nos bureaux de REIMS et NICE.
Au quotidien, je gère des incidents de niveau 2 et escalade vers les éditeurs. Je suis force de proposition sur l’évolution du SI et participe à plusieurs projets transverses (Helpdesk, Sécurité, Décisionnel, métiers …).

Major achievements since 2008 :
Moving the IT team to a new location (IT building), with all LAN and WAN network constraint implications.
Moving the server room from Belgium to France, with complete change of management of IT structure and policy (from physical to virtual servers). Physical moving of the servers, a few months later, back to Belgian territory.
Overhaul of the WAN networking, moving from a public to a private network.
Deployment of an inventory and monitoring network solution based on Open Source (Nagios, Centreon, OCS, GLPI, Webmin all over Ubuntu server (LINUX).
Writing of an administrator handbook and a disaster recovery plan.
Exchange migration from 2k3 to 2k7 and from 2k7 to 2k10 with all domain changes (raising, cleanup and migration)

Within the strategic outsourcing team, for an IBM customer, managing 187 servers working under Windows server 2000/2003 and virtual one. My job was to maintain the system to make sure it was constantly running and to prepare to change the management and helpdesk procedure to level 1 and 2.
I provided level 2 support and beyond for users.
Project management in DRP. Managing Backups solutions (ARCserve, Netbackup, Backup exec) with recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) definition, all over a blade center platform.
