- Trademark & Copyright In-House Counsel
Courbevoie2012 - maintenantContracts: advise Galderma’s operational teams over Intellectual Property Law. Negotiate, draft and review the contracts with the communication agencies and secure Galderma's IP rights to its communication tools such as institutional and promotional campaigns (photo-shoots, videos, animations, TVC, music, logos, posters, packaging, POS, websites, smartphone applications, e-learning modules, etc.), events (EADV, GWS, AMWC, Q-MED Academy, IMCAS etc.). Approve advertising campaigns and manage potential copyrights disputes.
Trademarks & Domain Names: enhance and maintain the worldwide trademarks portfolio of the Galderma Group. Managing more than 7000 trademarks, file, register and renew the brands, record the transfers of ownership and handle the relative claims and oppositions. Assist the marketing departments of each Global Business Unit in finding safe new product names. Secure and enforce Galderma's trademarks rights by filing oppositions and/or judicial complaints. Negotiate coexistence agreements, prior right agreements, etc. Finally, handling DN litigations.
Anti-Piracy: defend Galderma's rights by combatting piracy and infringements - working with Investigation agencies; filing of Customs Intervention Request in several countries; tests purchase of products and analysis of said products - identify all the network of distributors, manufacturers.
Counsel: Advise and Counsel operational in all IP matters (except Patent).
