  • Sturgeon SCEA - R&D Manager

    2010 - maintenant Sturgeon is the French leading company in sturgeon and caviar production. It makes 50 % of the French production and 10 % of the global production.

    - Design and coordination of the research programs
    * On the farms: breeding program, feeding/nutrition, hatchery, stress, water quality, fish health, impact of rearing methods on final product’s quality.
    * On the processing unit: caviar processing unit optimization, programs to improve products conservation, mechanization, quality assessment improvement.

    - In charge of product development “around the caviar” : interface between marketing, sales, production and quality department, project management, technical aspects management (formulation, conservation, process). Finalist at the Brussels seafood show, winner at the "grand prix for Innovation" at the sirha show (food service)

    - Administrative management of the partnerships: UE programs, partnerships with national and international research institute (Ifremer,…), industrial property and results exploitation management.

    - Coordination of the research program with PhD students and research teams

    - Project management: planning, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, budget (400 k€) and costs management, reporting to the board.

    Main achievements:

    - Creation and management of the R&D department of the company
    - Setup of an efficient breeding program based on caviar yield
    - Creation of an international scientific network around our research programs
    - Creation of a funding network for the R&D activities
    - Development of several new products available on the market now.
  • Sturgeon SCEA - Chief Operation Officier's assistant

    2007 - 2009 - Assisting on team management (20 people) : planning, management of the daily work, fish health monitoring - Feed and equipment purchase, relations with feed manufacturers.

    - Consultancy for farming partners (sexing, stock management, female’s maturation and caviar production planning) in China, Germany, Switzerland, Italy.

    - Implementation and management of the workplace safety and continuous training policies of the company

    - In charge of sales of live fish during 2 years : prospection, negotiation, logistic and technical support
  • Biotecnologia marina de Mexico - Export and Logistic responsible

    2006 - 2006 - Responsible for the export to the US market : market study, prospection, negotiation, sales administration, logistic.
  • Kimagro Fish Farming - Cyrpus - End of study Internship - Marketing study

    2005 - 2005 Kimagro is the leading company in seabass and seabream farming in Cyprus. Annual production in 2005 : 700 tons in sea cages

    - Development of a marketing strategy to export seabream products to France or how to increase the added value of the product to compensate the air freight cost to reach the french market :
    * audit of the production cost and optimization suggestion
    * market study on the french offer
    * creation of a private quality sign to differentiate and identify the products
    * differentiation of the offer : feasibility study on the implementation of a filleting unit on the farm, organisation of the production to grow bigger size fish (> 3 kg)

    2003 - 2003 France Turbot was the french leader in turbot farming : 6 000 000 fingerlings and 650 tons of turbot
