Former Director of the Master « International Transports » of the ULH.
Olivier P. JOLY is currently an Associate Professor in Transport & Spatial Planning at the ULH.
Holder of a doctorate in Transport Geography & Spatial Planning from the University of Le Havre and a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics & Social Sciences from the University of Paris 7, his previous works focus on:
1- the worldwide structuring of Maritime Container Traffic Networks,
2- setting indicators related to transport activities, and urban management that are appropriate to retain to compare port-cities in Europe,
3- setting indicators related Logistics Performance,
4- the Global Logistic Chain Security : Economic Impacts of the US 100% Scanning Law.
His present research activities are focused on:
1- the Territorial Impacts of the New Forms of Port and Harbour Organization,
2- the 'Reticular' Strategies of Transport & Logistics Operators,
3- the Socio-Technical Acceptance of Capture, Transport & Storage of Carbone Dioxyde (CTSC) technologies,
4- The improvement of the Motorways of the Sea in Europe..
