PARIS
An art lover, particularly of contemporary art, Pascal Donders holds a degree in History of Art from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. 30 years old, he is fascinated by ancient, modern and contemporary sculpture and had the chance to discover the universe of Contemporary Art working for the Sculpture Gallery in Brussels, an experience which he found wonderful, intense and revealing. Through monographic and collective exhibitions he had the chance to present to the public young artists at the beginning of their career, as well as more established ones.
The experience was too rich to let it discontinue, so after leaving the gallery, he started a cooperation with the Belgian fashion designer Anna Haylen and the Belgian collector Olivier Onghena-'t Hooft. Together, they promoted an exhibition on the cynetic French artist Michel Deverne's work "Retrospective Deverne" (02/12/11 - 08/02/12). This took place in the wonderful framework of the Maison Frison, a Victor Horta landmark on the Grand Sablon in Brussels.
He works as a consultant for WO-MEN IN FINE ART Gallery in Antwerp (www.wo-meninfineart.be), and at the moment he's busy organising exhibitions of young and emerging European artists in a lovely space in the heart of the Grand Sablon, the artistic and cultural heart of Brussels.
