  • ESRF - Ingénieur instrumentation

2007 - maintenant The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), located in Grenoble - France, is a joint facility supported and shared by 18 European countries.

The ESRF operates the most powerful synchrotron radiation source in Europe. Each year several thousand researchers travel to Grenoble where they work in a first-class scientific environment to conduct exciting experiments at the cutting edge of modern science.

At the ESRF, physicists work side by side with chemists and materials scientists. Biologists, medical doctors, meteorologists, geophysicists and archaeologists have become regular users. Industrial applications are also growing, notably in the fields of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, petrochemicals and microelectronics.
  • Hilger Crystals - Ingénieur R&D

2005 - 2007 Hilger Crystals have a long established history in the supply of high quality synthetic crystals for infrared spectroscopy and X and gamma ray detection.

Materials such as Potassium Bromide, Sodium chloride, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Fluoride etc are available for infrared optics up to several tens of centimeters in size.

X ray detector materials suitable for x and gamma ray detection and imaging such as Sodium Iodide, Cesium Iodide, Bismuth Germanate, Cadmium Tungstate, Zinc Tungstate, etc are available in a variety of geometries including 2 dimensional and linear arrays with pixel sizes as small as 75 microns.

The majority of products can be supplied with short lead times to custom design requirements.
  • Centre Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire (CERN) - Etudiant d'été

2004 - 2004 CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research, the world's largest particle physics centre. It sits astride the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva.

CERN is a laboratory where scientists unite to study the building blocks of matter and the forces that hold them together. CERN exists primarily to provide them with the necessary tools. These are accelerators, which accelerate particles to almost the speed of light and detectors to make the particles visible.

Founded in 1954, the laboratory was one of Europe's first joint ventures and includes now 20 Member States.
