- Numerical Analysis of the nozzle using Gmsh, Code Saturne, Paraview and Gerris.
- The main goal of the work is to obtain the characteristics of a jet in order to maintain a maximum range for a minimum jet velocity.
- A part of the work involves the dispersion of a jet into drops: atomization process. The work is to develop a method for projecting the fluid allowing standardization of the size of the drops, in order to limit both the formation of too large and very small drops.
- For the experimental work, the shadowgraphy technique is used to view the flow of the fluid through the nozzle.

2016 - 2016"Experimental Characterization of the Influence of Tangential Flow on an Igniter"
- The Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV) technique is used to study the tangential air flow around the Igniter axis. The experiment is conducted for various pressure at different positions from the center of the igniter axis. The average velocity field is studied for different upstream nozzle pressure.
- DaVis is used for the imaging of the flow field around the igniter.
- The images are then processed using Pivmat package in MATLAB.
