Site-to-Site communication, remote site integration to the data network for distant offices. Use of VPN routers and remote desktop software.
Design and implementation of a custom-made, local and remote redundant and multi-scheduled backup solution. Full classification of company data, data growth forectasing and backup strategy tailored per file/data classification type. Tools: Scheduled tasks, NTBackup, IIS backup tools, winRAR (command line), putty-ftp, advanced dos batch scripting and command-line tools.
Implementation of VB.NET modules for an internal ERP.
Developped a Thunderbird plug-in in javascript and xul (using mozilla APIs) for integration with an internal ERP.
Hardware and software purchasing for network users, bookkeeping of licenses and hardware stock.
Hardware and software deployments for new remote facilities.
General troubleshooting for printers, mail clients, applications and operating systems, to name a few.
Visually lush shop application in VB.NET Windows Forms intended to speed up packaging in the shop. Graphics designed by myself using GIMP.

This internship comprised of a 3-month delivery testing phase for a helicopter engine control system. Tests were prepared by the engine control unit supplier, but analysis was conducted at our firm in Montreal. The test results passed the approval audits with success.
