En résumé

I'm currently working for a French Military Headquarters, as an Internal Auditor.

Previously, I worked as an Internal Auditor in an international organization, in Belgium, from August 2009 until August 2012.

All in all, I worked in an English-speaking environment for 7 consecutive years (2005 to 2012).

It made me realize that I'd like to be abroad for the rest of my professional life, no matter where.

My skills are centered on internal auditing and management control. Throughout my professional career in the Military, I occupied both operational and management positions, alternatively, leading me to improve my knowledge of the work to be done and that I would have to audit later. Another advantage is that it developed and increased my professional adaptability. It also allowed me to know both sides of my work, by giving me the views of the auditee as well of the one of the auditor.

I have a PhD in Economics (Industrial Organization), an advanced degree in International Finance, and a MA in Economics (I studied at University of Aix-Marseille).

My job for NATO allowed me to travel professionally into several countries for more than one time (to perform audits), amongst which are Italy, Portugal, Afghanistan, the Netherlands, Kosovo, Macedonia, Turkey and Germany. These years working for NATO have been very busy with very little time spent home in Belgium!

Apart from that, my other professional experience in Central Africa, as well as the many private and family trips I have made all throughout the World in Europe (Greece, UK, Swiss, Spain), North Africa (Tunisia), the US, and Asia (Vietnam, Hong Kong, and the Philippines for several times - I often say that the Philippines is my second home) lead me to feel very comfortable abroad.

It also helped me figure out that having a recognizable French accent when speaking English could be more often an advantage than something to be ashamed of!
