    Delivered major change agenda: logistics footprint restructuring and 2 successive G-SAP Go-lives (Benelux
    and France).
    Built a talented team and got them to over deliver on agreed targets: brought cluster manufacturing facilities to Top Quartile in PIMS global benchmark, reduced logistics unit rates by 17% and improved Customer experience by 15%.
  • Royal Dutch Shell - Operational Excellence Manager

    Paris 2006 - 2008 Operation Excellence Manager North West Europe, (4 Lub Oil blending plants, 2 Grease plants, 10 subsidiaries, asset value $100M, volume sold 1200 M litres over 6 countries).
    Accountable for Continuous Improvement and OE in the geography, developed a Master plan for Capital investments and set up monthly process to drive discipline and cost consciousness.
    Subsequently appointed Operations Manager for CEE (interim): Challenged status quo, established close relationships with sales organisation and changed Supply Chain footprint to meet growth aspirations (toll-filling, Logistics setup, route to market).
  • Royal Dutch Shell - Strategy manager, Lubricant Supply Chain Africa

    Paris 2005 - 2006 Successfully delivered the “Africa LSC strategy review” under sponsorship of Global Lubricants Supply Chain VP and Africa Lubricants Sales GM.
    Lead negotiator for toll-blending agreement in Nigeria (15% cost reduction, NPV3 $1.2M), South Africa JV operating agreement (restored growth capability through rebalancing shareholding ratio) and re-capitalisation agreement with shareholders (XoM, Total, Governmental rep) to solve legal bankruptcy of the Ivory Coast JV (listed in Abidjan).
  • Royal Dutch Shell - Site Manager - Trinity Lubricant Blending Plant

    Paris 2001 - 2004 Lube Oil and Grease manufacturing unit ($30M Opex, 120 kt Lube & 4 kt Grease p.a., 130+ FTE, on-site contractors).
    Delivered performance turnaround on service and 30% cost reduction through downsizing of operations to one-shift, flexibility agreement negotiation with staff, tax optimisation (turned the plant into a subsidiary) and restructuring.

    1998 - 2000 Accountable for Operations (€55M proceeds), Projects, Staff (80 FTE), Technology.
