Under the direction of Mr. Haidar El Ali, President of the Environmental Association Oceanium Dakar and former Minister of the Environment in Senegal, this collaboration implemented the creation of a sustainable supply chain for Senegal's natural resources in cosmetics and nutrition supplements industry
Achievements:
- Provided technical support to producers' groups to develop the quality of their products.
- Improved transparency and traceability by referencing producers and mapping forests.
- Planned and budgeted an experiment on the Moringa Oleifera plant.
- Oversaw production and processing of local partners. ;
- Established procedures and audits to minimize the hygiene, safety and environment risks.
- Optimized flows by reducing the number of intermediaries and the costs.
- Initiated the Ecocert ESR Organic and Fair Trade Certification.

For almost 20 years, MGD Nature has been working on conception, manufacturing and development of nutritional food combining plant properties with recent scientific research. Through a partnership with the Senegalese association of environmental protection, Oceanium Dakar, this collaboration implemented the creation of a sustainable product by enhancing the Baobab fruit.
Achievements:
- Designed a Baobab fruit product with the participation of the production and sales departments.
- Ensured a competitive intelligence and designed sales support tools.
- Prospected of raw materials, sourced and negotiated with suppliers in Senegal.
- Initiated the Ecocert ESR Organic and Fair Trade Certification.
