My mission is to :
- Support the central and local R&D process with data-driven consumer knowledge input to focus resources, optimize time investments and improve final success rates.
- Translate identified consumer knowledge needs into a general action plan to lay-out the principle consumer research & information sourcing direction by project, time horizon, accessibility & budget.
- Develop Sensory & Consumer expertise by participating to external professional network, communicate in scientific international congresses, co-working with universities on emerging methods
Key responsibilities and accountabilities are :
- Breakdown the consumer insight needs per identified project and schedule actions to be taken. Follow-up project plans, allocate external budget and adjust whenever necessary
- Brief internal (consumer science) and external sources (institutes, consultants, …) on individual research needs/tasks and challenge allocated timelines and budgets
- Create and present accurate, impactful, and actionable reports to internal corporate clients.
- Review consumer insight results with the project teams and extract recommendation to orientate/feed further R&D work
- Communicate and prioritise actions with the development committees
-Identify and create opportunities for sharing relevant sensory & consumer knowledge between teams.
- Develop/adapt novel consumer research techniques that add greater depth, breadth, and speed to Danone Research product development process.
-Manage students (6 months internships) on innovating methods and key topics of interest
- Collaborate with external professional sensory & consumer network
