LUXEMBOURG
After a degree in Information, Communication and Journalism at ULB University of Brussels, Belgium, I started in the mid nineties as a freelance journalist for regional press in the fields of business news and politics in the Greater Region (BeLux). Then, I was employed as a Content Editor for an 18-month-long initiative for the European Employment Offices, dealing with new technology and data exchange. At the end of this mission, I fell in IT and was recruited as a Senior Staff Writer for a Luxembourg IT Professional Media, it-solutions.lu. The publishing house had some issues to deal with and so I decided to found my own structure: a local, IT-leader journal project. After four great years marked out with successes and challenges, Eric Busch joined me to bring LuxBox, the Luxembourg IT decision makers magazine, to another level. It became ITnews, a community and network of IT professionals, gathered around Printed, Web and Newsletters issues, combined with the organization of various major events, a job platform (itjobs.lu) and marketing services.
In my current position, I’m responsible for conceiving Strategy and Business Lines Development for Makana, the head company of ITnews, as well as for ITjobs, ITevents and ITmarketing issues. As a journalist, I’m very pleased to hold cover stories every month with visionary CIO’s from Luxembourg Banks and Financials, Public Sector and European Institutions, Factories and Corporations. As such, I’m organizing global content and relations, design and subscribed circulation and business and technical strategies. Currently, I’m building new development way for the promotion of Luxembourg as the best place for doing business and as a European and WW technological hub.
If you’re looking at value creation and opportunities through IT assets, please feel free to contact me. I’m working in a closed loop with peers and I’ve a track record in SaaS lead.
