En résumé

I am now looking for partners interested in participating in the development of an educative and innovative game.

As a designer, I have created games during my MA & PhD degrees. The latter was funded by CLAHRC, a NIHR funding stream, and looked at utilising games and design methodology to promote physical activity in young people. A research-through-design approach was adopted to create, develop and refine an approach to promote physical activity in young people (aged 11-12) across a series of 6 work packages. The design process consisted of an alternation of divergent and convergent thinking, which was supported by user-centred enquiries. The iterations resulted in the creation of ‘Boost Up!’ which comprised a series of games utilising physical activity as game currency.

I already have the support of the research centre of Sheffield, the ADRC (the Art and Design Research Centre) giving me the opportunity to explore further the games developed. Different researchers in the field of Design and Health (specialized in obesity and behaviour change) would like to collaborate with me and will be able to provide support through the whole development of the project.
