I help build the future of online travel at Kayak. As a full stack engineer, I get to participate in a variety of projects, ranging from analytics and search engine optimization to the visualization of flight data. Many of my tasks target the internationalization and localization of the KAYAK website, which adds a fascinating cultural dimension.
Before joining KAYAK in the summer of 2014, I helped develop BaseCase's cloud-based software for the life sciences industry. BaseCase Interactive is an app development platform that market-access teams can use to turn their health economic models into interactive apps for marketing and customer engagement.
In 2012 I took part in the Accelerated Cure Project in Boston, USA, where I worked with various statistical and data visualization tools to analyze large collections of clinical data. My work there complemented previous professional and academic experiences in the area of health technology such as a collaboration with INSERM (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale) in 2011, during which I undertook a large-scale data mining project while I was specializing in ICT and Health.
