    This is a French Program for international cooperation (VIE).

    2011 - 2011 A330/A340 Main Landing Gear:

    *Handle the corrosion issues on hydraulic hoses, after retraction problems. A new material had been used. The specifications have been updated and forwarded to the purchase department for a RFQ.

    * New paint development (which changes colors when a force is applied on it) in order to adapt it for landing gears. A planning had been set and done. The results published, i participated to the negotiation with the suppliers to pursue the development.

    * Updating a test plan on the main landing gear. After maneuvers, during breaking, made by pilots, the gear was not designed for, some tests have been planned and added on the current schedule. This was to make sure that the maneuvers do not impact on the gear's life limit.

    * Re-design the retraction actuator cover. After fatigue problems discovered by the customer services, the cover had been re-designed and re-tested before using again.

    *Maintenance project with the customer services. It concerns the interchangeability between the different version of the A330/340 main landing gear in order to reduce maintenance costs. I created a "Work Package Specification" on the main fitting and sent it to India. I closely worked with the Indian engineers to complete the task. The communication was an essential element to finish the work with success.
