Rémi SERMIER is a former ENA alumni and worked for fifteen years within the French State’s administration. He notably was a member of the Secrétariat général du Gouvernement (Prime Minister's Office, 1993 – 2001), where he was dealing with lawmaking and legal issues concerning the Ministries of Justice, Telecommunications, Media and Cultural Affairs.
He became member of the Paris Bar in 2002, and has developed a practice covering all aspects of public law applied to business activities, both in advisory and litigation. He notably assists French and foreign companies in their negotiations and/or disputes with public authorities: applications for licences, concessions and authorisations, award and implementation of contracts, challenging administrative decisions, project structuring, acting before competition authorities and other regulatory bodies… Rémi SERMIER is also acting in these matters in Civil law countries outside France. Rémi SERMIER has equally developed a recognised practice in the field of media and art business.
