En résumé

After completing a masters in International Cultural Exchanges at Sciences Po Lyon in France, I have moved to Manchester to kick-start my career. The different roles I covered have allowed me to develop strong interpersonal and customer service skills as well as a taste for team work and planning. Working at UP Global Sourcing – a leader in the Retail Industry – has made me develop sales, translation and merchandising skills.

  • UP Global Sourcing - Sales support/merchandiser

    2014 - maintenant Sales and merchandising support.

    - Sales support to the managing director for Europe. Follow up of requirements from clients and creation of documents and offers for clients
    - Order management, follow up of all the orders for the Managing Director, update of the critical path.
    - Liaising with internal departments and external customers.


    - Translation duties:
    - any required correspondence from French to English or contracts from French to English
    - Instruction manuals and packagings from English to French, Dutch and Spanish.


    I have also taken on another role as Forward Order Merchandiser in our audio department involving:
    - Follow up of orders from major UK and European retailers, from creating the order to shipping or delivering it.
    - Liaison with factories in China to process orders and make sure all product are produced on time and in line with our customer's requirements.
  • Emirates Airlines - Customer Service and Sales Agent

    Paris 2013 - 2014 I was responsible for bookings, fare creation and general enquiries. This helped me develop strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities as well as being able to work under pressure.
  • Alliance Française de Manchester - Co-responsable culture et communication

    2013 - 2013 Organisation of cultural events, be they recurrent (cinema-club, book-club…) or one-offs (Bastille Day celebrations, concerts…) These events take place at the AF Manchester but also in other venues in Manchester (cinemas, pubs, theatre).
    Communication: maintenance of the AF’s website, newsletter, management of social media (Facebook, Twitter), creation of leaflets and posters, PR with local media and promotion of other French-related events organised by our partners.
    Library: updating the library’s collections, purchase of new items… Reception work: enrolment of new students, customer service…
