I am developing a Computational Design expertise.
This design process goes from the data collection to the treatment and agile fabrication (laser-cutting, CNC, 3D printing,…).
The idea: we design a system in which we will input a dataset; the result is an “infinite” pool of solutions rather than only one.
We end up with an evolutive system to anticipate project’s requirements evolutions: an update takes few seconds! This process allows solutions optimization within the pool (material or energy savings, fabrication and assembly costs reduction, for example). We can also use this method as a form finding tool.
This parametric vision is applied in architecture, product design, stylism, data-visualization, structural optimization, energetic analysis, for example.
I am part of thr34d5, a Computational Design network of practice and knowledge sharing. We review each on-going project every week to ensure the quality. This network is composed by engineers, architects, artists and designers (AM Design by Data, ENPC), and we are working closely with academics and well-known experts from Computational Design.
I am very curious about what you do! Feel free to contact me: adrien@thr34d5.org
Background:
I have been working in industrial transformation for the Life Science Industry for more than six years (change management regarding technologies, human ressources, organization, economics - CAPEX impacts up to 4M€).
I am frequently working with various startups in business development and strategy, and I am invested in innovation communities in Paris (Open Science School - CRI).
