Working as Client Representative/Construction Supervisor, overseeing various and diverse construction projects. Shutdown scope and maintenance general work.
Reporting directly to the senior construction supervisor and senior piping engineer.
Together with a team, Surveyors, QC Inspectors and Dive Supervisors monitor and supervise day to day , subsea tie-ins, riser/J-tube installations and hook-up construction activities including pigging, flushing, hydro-test nitrogen blanket and leak testing in very high H2S level environments.
Ensure that drawings are correctly interpreted and carried out including field inspection testing requirements to ensure quality of works meets ITP's and specifications.
Identify punch lists, witness tests and signing off required documentation to facilitate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Ensure Subcontractor and Contractor strictly adheres to HSEQ objectives and guidelines. Ensure that work permits are obtained/issued as required, safety requirements are met and the implementation of "Hold points" as and when required.
Ensure that all project and test documentation is correctly produced and securely filed.
Hold daily progress meetings with contractors and sub-contractors representatives.
Maintain daily contact with Onshore &Offshore management to report on daily progress.
Production of construction work packs (multi-discipline) including Check sheet / Sign-off sheet, in accordance with engineering deliverables and applicable industry standards.
Interpretation of piping isometrics and structural details for purposes of work pack narrative writing.
Onshore constructability reviews with interdepartmental Engineers.
Project As-Building and work pack close-outs.
Offshore, provision of site sketches .P&ID mark-ups for pressure / leak testing limits
