Engineer in Mechanics, and Project Manager with PMP Certification (Project Manager Professional) from the Project Management Institute- USA. I have insured several positions in big companies, mostly in Production Management and Project Management.
My ten years experience has been in the Automotive and Aerospace Industries. Working in this two extremely technical and highly standardized fields has helped me to improve my knowledge and skills in both technical and Management areas. The switch from the Low to the High Volume Production Management was such a big challenge as well as a great learning opportunity.
My initial training as an officer in the Royal Air Forces had helped me to have several soft skills like: Punctuality, Discipline and Leadership. Thanks to this background, I have succeeded in all the positions I was assigned in, from managing important Projects to leading large scale multidisciplinary teams in stressful and difficult working conditions.
Currently, I am a Production Manager in Renault Nissan- tangier, in charge of a 200 people team, working in 2 shits, with a cycle time of 2 minutes. I had managed, meanly, a new car Production start project, in my area of responsibility. I have gained a holistic and complete view of a typical Production System, through all its components (HR, Process, Equipment, standardization, Materials).
