I gathered over 15 years expertise in Mobile and Online Marketing in the mobile telecommunications and software industry. I have been involved previously in four startups.     COMPANY OVERVIEW
    ClearKarma offers smart food choices and helps food industrials and food service companies protecting brands through global traceability from the food growers to the consumer. ClearKarma delivers a Realtime Food Information Platform, which will impact the food information industry.

    With the EU-Regulation 1169/2011, by December 13th 2014 the food industry must disclose certain food facts like 14 main allergens or mention of origins. This requires the complete relabeling of all pre-packed and non-prepacked foods in the EU including restaurants, catering and all eCommerce companies selling food:
    * New food labeling standards are difficult to follow/comply with
    * Integrating many sources of food information quickly across the entire food supply chain is a challenge
    * Increasing number of people with allergies and special diets want to know what’s in their food
    * Higher risk of lawsuits
    * Problems of food safety/liability can be costly. Businesses risk fines/loss of revenues of up to e.g. 600,000 Euros in Spain.

    We deliver end-to-end traceability across the entire food supply chain along with an easy way for the suppliers and restaurants to update/display food information over portals, so our end customers can check out allergens and special diets like: Vegetarian, Vegan, Kosher, Diabetic, and much more in the meals that they are planning to eat.
