Currently employed as project manager for BNP Paribas, I have been working for more than three years on both liquidity management and transaction banking projects throughout the world in countries such as Belgium, Singapore etc. where I have successfully been the project leader and have ensured that I exceeded the expectations of the clients.
My internship (2011) in Crédit Agricole CIB introduced me as a new graduate to the cash management sector and was largely focused on cash pooling projects (ZBA and Notional pooling). During those 9 months, I had the opportunity to work as a product manager (short and mid-term assignment) and to perform an international audit on the cash management capacities of the bank. This project led to the publication and presentation of a 400 pages document that is still regularly updated and used as basis to assess the bank cash implementation around the world.
Using the international experience I acquired from my internship, I was able to get a permanent position in BNP Paribas as a business analyst on small cash management projects. Throughout my assignments, I demonstrated more and more autonomy and responsibilities and was assigned on bigger projects that increased my experience on liquidity management, cash channels and reporting format. In Europe, I was involved in the International Notional pooling project, the SEPA project (alignment on new regulation, migrations) that included travels in European countries. In Asia, I had the chance to lead high added value projects for several countries (Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.) and my expertise in one of them in particular made it necessary for me to lead the team directly in Singapore. Furthermore, I was able to improve and develop new skills including practical business decision making, Middle and Back office processes, etc. These various assignments increased my desire to work in an international environment and especially for a bank with international projects.
I graduated 3 years ago from one of the top 5 French business schools and have demonstrated throughout my work that I was a quick learner and a high achiever. I have excellent interpersonal skills, which have led me to have a good working relationship with my colleagues, and a result I have successfully organized several social events to create a better working relationship between my team members (Christmas and sports events).
With the skills and competencies I have acquired over the years, and with my ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly, I believe I would be an asset to your firm, and I am more than capable of succeeding as a project manager in a Transaction Banking department.
