At Philip Morris International R&D center, I have developed, validated and transferred methods for the physical measurements of Reduced Risks Products and managed the manufacture of customized lab scale testing equipment. In parallel of coordinating lab activities and associated planning by managing a team of 7 lab technicians.
• Develop, plan, execute, validate and transfer test methods and qualify equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Write and Approve Work Instructions, Validation Plans & Reports, Experimental Plans…
• Open Non-Conformity, CAPA, Deviations, Change Control when relevant
• Perform Incoming Inspection / Batch Control & Batch Release on various items (semi-finished / finished products)
• Manage the measurements planning in Physical Lab by assigning the tasks to the technicians, reviewing, validating and sharing the results with customers
• Train and supervise a team of 7 lab technicians
• Provide scientific support to product developers by understanding requirements for mechanical and physical tests
• Ensure the equipment/knowledge transfer with Operations
• Manage multiple projects for designing and manufacturing measurement equipment
• Collaborate with external suppliers for new projects and instruments maintenances
• Ensure labs readiness for ISO 17025 certification , SAS accreditation and FDA inspection
