Objectives:
- Construction and extension of hydrocarbon depots following internationals and TOTAL standards for service stations and lubricant plants.
- Upgrading of aviation depot.
- Upgrading of ISSSRS level (International Small Site Safety Rating System).
- Inspection of main suppliers and contractors.
Activities:
- Extension and interconnection of Ibafon depot (oil terminal), construction of:
• 2 PMS/JET A1 tanks, 2600MT and 6400MT with accessories(floating blanket, floating suction, high level alarm, tank gauging), inspection & hydrotest.
• Product pump house with 3 centrifugal pumps of 150m3/h each for white products, 2 gear pumps of 50 and 30m3/h for LPFO (fuel oil).
• 1300m3 water tank.
• Fire fighting pump house with 3 centrifugal pumps of 350m3/h each.
• Loading gantry for 3 trucks with 3 top loading arms for black products.
• Upgrading of the old loading gantry to load JET A1.
• Installation of 3km of pipes for products and more than 4 for fire fighting.
• Cathodic protection of 6 underground pipelines.
- New project of 7 base oil tanks (8800MT) at Ibafon Depot:
• Design and approval of the complete project.
• Disconnection and rearrangement of PMS and fire fighting pipes for civil machines.
• Civil works: vibroflotation for tanks base (245 points at 9m depth each).
- Upgrading of Abuja Aviation Depot:
• Construction of 2 tanks of 763MT each for JET A1.
• Product pump house and loading gantry to receive and load at 150m3/h.
• Fire fighting pump house of 200m3/h.
- Decade inspection and servicing of a LPG sphere of 2000m3 at Apapa Terminal
• Reinforcement of legs with fire resistant cement.
• Maintenance and replacement of accessories.
• Inspection and certification.
Results:
• Checking and putting in operation of the whole installation except 1 tank at Ibafon.
• Reach ISSSRS level 3 at Ibafon Depot while constructing.
• Handover of site in safe condition for my successor.
• Checking and putting in operation of the whole installation except water tanks at Abuja.
• Checking and putting in operation of the LPG Sphere at Apapa.

• Modelling of porous media for determination of its transfer function based on Von Karman theory.
Activities:
• Conception of mesh of a 2D/3D structures for the validation of analytical results (gambit/fluent software).
• Simulation of alternative flow through the mesh with 2x4Gh computers
Results:
• Validation of the results and approval for the construction of a test bench.
