    I provide support and advice to France HR manager on HR functions.

     I am in charge of general HR administration and payroll management with a external payroll provider and also deal with disciplinary measures and dismissals.

     I assist the HR Manager in Industrial Relation matters: Organisation of employee’s representative’s elections, prepare workers council and OH&S committee meetings, develop OHS Policies and Procedures.

     I also participate in the implementation of the national recruitment plan and HR Group programmes and processes, develop local policies, ensure legal compliance with labour law.

    2004 - 2008 Responsibilities: As Human Resources Manager, my main responsibility was to implement the Human Resources policy validated by the Board Members of the SAFIC ALCAN Group throughout the French subsidiaries (120 employees). Reporting to the HR Director, I managed the HR team (two assistants). I provided HR advice and assistance to managers in accordance with health and safety strategy.

    - Preparation and maintenance of annual remuneration budgets and forecasts
    - Coordinating expatriate remuneration matters

    - Designing and developing detailed training strategies; conducting training needs analysis

  • MARINE TELECOM - HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

    2002 - 2004 Responsibilities: As an HR generalist I provided all kinds of support and advice (disciplinary, employment rights interpretation, updates and changes in legislation, etc) to approximately 500 employees and managers in France, across ten business units. Reporting directly to the CEO I was responsible for recruitment, negotiations with unions, general administration and payroll administration. I was also involved in a variety of HR projects.

    * Remuneration & Payroll, Personnel Administration
    - Setting-up of the payroll Externalization (with ADP/GSI)
    - Preparation of payroll elements and transfer to payroll suppliers
    - Conducting monthly national statistical reporting (turnover, headcount, absenteeism, etc)

    * Management of HR Projects
    - Setting-up of the 35 hour working week plan (preparation, negotiations with unions and drafting of new contracts)

    Reason for leaving: MARINE TELECOM went bankrupt in October 2003.
