    2011 - 2013

    Oud-Heverlee Leuven is a professional Belgian football club, from the municipality of Leuven. It results from the 2002 fusion between K. Stade Leuven, K. Daring Club Leuven and F.C. Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverlee. OH Leuven plays in the Belgian First Division, the Jupiler Pro League, since season 2011-12. Their stadium is called Stadion Den Dreef and is situated on Kardinaal Mercierlaan in the south Leuven suburb of Heverlee. Main sponsors/partners of OHL are Option (Telecommunication), Mercedes (Automotive) and DataFlow (IT-services).

    OHL contacted Wim because of his expertise in and passion for football and the economic, strategic and communicative processes that lie beneath it in a professional football club. Having done his master thesis (magna cum laude) about crisis communication and strategy in the Belgian first division (Jupiler Pro League), his expertise could be a major asset in the professional development of OHL, who were playing in the highest division since that year.

    Within OHL, Wim is responsible for all internal and external communication of the elite, national Youth Department and the commercial projects they need to engage in, especially when it comes to sponsorships. Wim got the chance to recruit his own team of about 10 people, which he got to direct and manage to carry out the daily tasks and events.
