The industrial business unit I manage designs, builds and supports special machines and equipments.
The main topic is to integrate a technology whitin a classical machine operating manipulations.
Technologies are typicaly treatments and measurments and the concerned object is an ophtalmic lens.
The mains competencies of the BU are CAD, mecanich and automatism.
As an ingineer, part of my job is the pre studie, i.e. to integrate the technology in the machine.
As the BU responasble, other parts of my job are persons and machines security, norms compliance, management and finance.
The last example of achievement is the integration of a specific lens measurment optical sheme in a dedicated machine, making a series of 160 machines worlwide rolled out.
The size of the BU is more or less 10 people and the turnover roughly million 1.5 €.
