Responsible for receiving ordered goods and issuing to contractors, materials according to MTO for prefabrication and packaging materials to contractors for field installation. ISG requirements are for full traceability therefore issued materials must be fully identified to Purchase Order and material data sheets to ensure that products comply with national and international legal and quality standards. Apart from main central yard also responsible for two separate remote yards at other locations which receive materials from central yard and issue materials to site activities. Due to delivery problems ‘just in time’ deliveries, are not uncommon, and use of existing stock and tracing the materials requires quick and accurate response.
