Adrien Bailly is currently PhD candidate under the direction of Professors Björn Walliser (CEREFIGE) and Renaud Garcia-Bardidia (NIMEC). His doctoral research, funded by the University of Lorraine, is designed to produce a critical understanding of the way Information and Communications Technologies foster the development of business models based on individual participation. Using concepts from the socio-spatial framework of Henri Lefebvre to the ethnomethodology of Harold Garfinkel, Adrien Bailly aims to identify some of the democratic issues related to collaborative consumption in a socio-digital space. His research interests mainly lie in the intersection of new business models, consumer culture and social criticism.
