2010 - maintenant - Supervision of a team of 6 people in charge of the following functions :
o Corporate Finance : Bookkeeping of entries in SAP, Monthly review of accounts (Balance Sheet / P&L), Financial reporting to regulators, Computation of VAT reports, and Corporate Taxes Reports, Preparation of Annual Reports and support for the audit requests. (Lux and CH companies)
o Tax : oversight of the tax data (German Tax, Austrian Tax, UKRFS, EUSD, Belgian tax, Italian tax reporting…); oversight of the tax optimization at the fund’s portfolio level; follow-up of the tax reclaims filed for the funds based on the ECJ court case “Aberdeen” in relation with the appointed legal and tax counsels; opening of the sub-custodian accounts in the various investment countries of the funds; annual and quarterly funds’ dividend distribution; follow-up of proxy voting.
o Reporting : review of annual, semi-annual and liquidation's reports for Luxembourg and other countries; coordination of the audits, follow-up of Funds' invoices, Directors’ fees and Fixed TER budgets.
o Trailer fees : calculation and payment of retrocessions fees; communication with sales team and distributors/clients
o Domiciliation : day-to-day administration of the entities domiciled with LOF Europe; organization of the ordinary and extraordinary general meetings of investors; publications, notifications and filings with the RCS/CSSF
- Active participation to the Board of Management Company & Funds, and member of the Audit Committee dedicated to Funds.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of an audit.
• Create and execute audit work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
• Effectively apply PwC methodology and enforces international audit standards.
• Identify audit risks and minimize the exposure.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
• Manage audit budget, track team hours and expenses on a regular basis.
• Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely invoicing and monitor receivables. Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
• Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins and utilization.
• Give trainings internally and externally.
• Recruit new associates.
