  • Alstom Power Services - Operations Manager Steam & Gas Turbines

    Levallois-Perret Cedex 2010 - 2010 Responsibilities: operations manager for the gas turbines activity within Alstom Power France.

    Mission: development for Alstom France of the gas turbines maintenance activities based on Alstom Switzerland model.

    Results: study of the site activities organization during the 1-month major overhaul of Alstom Power combined cycle plant of Monterrey (Mexico) and sizing of the human and technical means necessary to enable implementation.

    Skills: project management, creation and implementation of a new entity, organization, discipline, force of proposition.

    Training: electrical safety for non-electricians H0/B0.
  • SBM Offshore - FPSO Operations Engineer

    SCHIEDAM 2010 - maintenant FPSO Operations Engineer for Brazil fleet: 8 operating vessels for Petrobras, Shell and Chevron.

    Technical support:
    - Coordinate or provide direct necessary technical Process, Marine or Engineering assistance and advice to support the in country onshore management and offshore installations teams.
    - Key player in the management of change (Offshore Query OQ), technical audit finding resolution, OQ online tool development and implementation.
    - Provide support to ensure operation within unit design specifications and compliance with SBM codes of practices, classification society (ABS), Flag (Bahamas) or local regulations and with recommendations from technical experts, suppliers or industry best practice.

    Contract and budget:
    - Assist in development and preparation of operating budgets and major repairs plans.
    - Assigned to defend various insurance claims: Capixaba GLC motor rotor (3MUSD), BC10 turret winch (5MUSD), Marlim Sul helideck (30MUSD), Capixaba riser (7MUSD).
    - Assigned to defend various warranty claims towards OEMs.
    - Assistance in legal dispute with client/subcontractors.
    - Issue internal and client offers.

    Operations Management: cover on regular basis since January 2011 the Operations Manager/Engineer positions for the FPSOs Capixaba, P57, Cidade de Anchieta and Marlim Sul. Around 4 months per year in Vitoria and Macae, Brazil.

    Training: BOSIET (valid until March 2016) & HUET (valid until October 2018), SBM in-house FPSO training, anti-corruption training.
  • GE Oil&Gas Thermodyn - Field Services Proposals Engineer

    2007 - 2010 Responsibilities: sales support proposals engineer in the Field Services department and in charge of a continuous improvement project within the service.

    Mission: drawing up of commercial and technical call for tender reply for New Units installation and of contractual service agreements; continuous improvement.

    Results: preparation, costing and drawing up of technical and commercial call for tender reply for New Units installation (assembly, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up) and of contractual service agreements (maintenance, OEM spare parts, repairs activities), from 250KUSD to 10MUSD; drafting of installation and maintenance/healthcare contracts. Continuous improvement project: implementation of special tools dedicated to the call for tender reply and drafting of procedures and job descriptions.

    Training: GE in-house training (lean management, communication), Artemis 7, Microsoft Project.
  • GE Oil&Gas Thermodyn - Field Services Logistics Manager

    2006 - 2007 Responsibility: logistics manager in the Field Services department and in charge of a continuous improvement project within the service.

    Mission: creation and setting up of a logistics entity; logistic, technical and financial preparation and follow-up of on-site interventions in support of the different project managers; continuous improvement.

    Results: establishment of a Field Services logistics entity, drafting of authorizations and permits to work/intervene, construction sites logistic preparation and follow-up, interventions technical preparation, site staff training and follow-up, construction sites support/responses to solve issues, financial monitoring and follow-up of subcontractors service and performance. Continuous improvement project: implementation of special tools dedicated to logistics monitoring and follow-up, simplification of processes within the service in terms of readability and communication and drafting of procedures and job descriptions.

    Skills: creation and implementation of a new entity, logistic management of several projects, educational aspect/staff training, subcontractors recovery, force of proposition.
  • Total E&P Angola - Junior Project Manager (Internship)

    COURBEVOIE 2006 - 2006 Responsibilities: project manager / interface between Total E&P Angola (IT and instrumentation control system services), Cegelec (company responsible for the maintenance and repair activities of the FPSO Girassol) and GE Oil & Gas (manufacturer of FPSO Girassol gas turbines).

    Mission: setting up and implementation of a Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics (RM&D) assistance contract with GE Oil&Gas; development and installation of a secured computer connection between Girassol and GE Oil&Gas vibratory and thermodynamic analysis centre, based in Florence (Italy). Main objective: secure data transfer.

    Results: in agreement with GE Oil & Gas, definition the architecture of connection between the GE Oil & Gas vibration analysis centre and Girassol to transfer the data necessary to monitor and analyze the vibration of the gas turbines and gas compressors. The contract was on standby for 5 years following large differences of opinion between the 2 companies: my main achievement consisted in establishing a good communication with GE Oil & Gas, cooperating with them to restart the project from the beginning and finding a common and technically viable agreement. Validation by IT departments of both Total E&P Angola, Total Group and GE Oil & Gas.

    Skills: project management, coordination, motivation and follow up of different teams working on the project, management of people of different skills, functions and nationalities, mediation, firmness, organization, discipline and perseverance.
