FEFISOL SA. SICAV FIS (Fonds européen pour le financement solidaire en Afrique). Investment Fund dedicated to the financing of rural microfinance institutions and producers’ organizations in Africa.
o Set up the Fund (2010-2011): drafting of Business plan, financial projections, corporate documents (Issue document, Shareholders’ Agreement, investment policy, procedures…), mobilizations of the investors (EUR 30 million). Launch of the Fund in July 2011.
o Board of Directors and Advisory Committee preparation and facilitation.
o Day to day financial and administrative management of the Fund in relation with the Depositary Bank and the administration agent in Luxembourg
o Elaboration of the annual investment budget and revised BP
o Monitoring of the Company’s financial, social and environmental performance and reporting to the shareholders.

SIDI S.C.A. (Société Solidarité internationale pour le développement et l’investissement) – Paris – Social investor with a portfolio of 70 investees in 30 countries (Africa, Latin America, Asia, MENA, Eastern Europe).
• Responsible for SIDI’s strategic planning and reporting: coordination of pluri-annual strategic planning process, implementation monitoring, budget drawing up and reporting, investment portfolio monitoring and reporting.
• Responsible for fund-raising: relationships with public and private investors/donors, grants management and reporting.
• Investment and TA officer:
o Financial and management follow up of SIDI investments in Laos and Haiti: identification of investment opportunities, due-diligence and financial proposal, investment structuring, portfolio monitoring (loans and equity), SIDI representation in investees’ boards, technical assistance to the investees in governance, finance and management.
o Technical assistance to the Microfinance African Institutions Network (MAIN) based in Adis Abebba and Lomé: support in strategic planning, fund raising, accountability, finance and reporting.

- Board of Directors preparation, day to day financial and administrative management of the association; annual budget, fund raising, reporting, communication, external relations...
- Coordination of the network, organization of workshops and training sessions.
- Set up of operations of debt swaps into social projects in developing countries. Negotiations with all the parties: public and private lenders (Club de Paris, Club de Londres, COFACE, banks…) and local Ministry of finance. Financial and legal structuring of the operations.
- Follow up of the implementation of the HIPC Initiative (Highly Indebted Poor Country Initiative for debt relief) and its impact in the countries where French NGOs have projects with the local communities.
- Collaboration to the negotiations with the French government for the specific French debt relief programs (C2D), and their implementation in the concerned countries…
- Intermediary between the French NGO and the World Bank to promote civil society implication in the World Bank financed projects.
