  Theoretical and practical analysis of feasibility of Genomic Selection on specific populations of Rapeseed at Euralis genetics.
  - Phenotypic data analysis to correct for years and environmental effects;
  - Theoretical and practical analysis of different GS models;
  - Evaluation of prediction accuracy regarding different traits and quantitative genetic parameters;
  - Development of new tools addressed to breeders;
  - Optimizing the allocation of resources in a GS breeding scheme;
  - Economical study of GS breeding program cost-effectiveness.
  

• Groupe Coopératif Maisadour - Engineering project

  Haut-Mauco 2015 - 2016 Study of genetic resources in rapeseed Maïsadour DH lines.
  
  Processing and analysis of a 15k SNP chip on parental lines :
  - Large data processing and cleaning
  - Linkage Disequilibrium computation using pipelines and R packages
  - Structure and haplotype blocks
  - Selection of Tag SNPs and testing different ways to select non redundant SNPs regarding LD
  - Genetic distances between populations using different subsets and determination of the best way to select subsets of SNP while minimizing the loss of information.

  2015 - 2015 Design, conduction and analysis of greenhouse bioassays to analyze genetic variation of sugar beet resistance against various fungal root pathogens (Fusarium sp., Phoma betae, Rhizoctonia solani);
  Biostatistics and trial analysis (mostly on R);
  Phenotyping project, innovation and reflection about new methods;
  Follow a resistance breeder during his "routine" work;
  Being involved in practical breeding work during that time;
  
  ==> I used and developed my knowledge in genetics and plant breeding, as well as my professional communication skills in English (results presentation, manage meetings and discussions...) ;

  Reste de la période (1 mois) au sein de L'IBERS dans l'équipe de recherche de Rhun Fychan.
