• Research into existing world tanker fleet to identify suitable vessels for acquisition and conversion into FPSO in accordance with Company’s strategy
• Arrange all necessary technical assessment and inspections of shortlisted vessels
• Review purchase documents and take physical delivery on-board
• Organisation and supervision of all vessel operational activities from the time of acquisition up to delivery of the vessel to the conversion yard
• Manage interface with sellers, brokers, ship-managers, Classification societies, flag authorities and lay-up contractors
• Assistance in the preparation of narratives and budgets for new FPSO project proposals
• Acquisition of 1 Suezmax for FPSO Turritella, 1 Aframax for FRAM project and 3 VLCCs for FPSOs Cidade de Marica & Saquarema and a future project (lay-up).
• Support to the Operability department for pre-sail activities in the conversion yard for FPSOs Cidade de Ilhabela and Cidade de Marica.
