• INSA Lyon - Final Project

  Villeurbanne Cedex 2014 - 2014 ● Context of the project:
  I proposed the subject of my final project myself, which was the pumping dynamic in longboarding. The aim of this project was to analyze the main mechanisms of energy transfer and to obtain the best conditions to gain speed.

• ANSYS - Stagiaire Ingénieur

  Villeurbanne 2013 - 2013 Développement d'outils métiers spécifiques dans un contexte éléments finis.
  Livraison d’une extension complète directement utilisable par le client à partir d'un cahier des charges défini avec celui-ci.
  
  ● Context of the company:
  ANSYS company is a software editor which develops an engineering simulation software based on the finite element method. ANSYS simulation software enables organizations to confidently predict how their products will operate in the real world.
  World leader, ANSYS has more than 40 000 company clients.
  
  ● Context of the project:
  ANSYS Lyon develops a small part of the mechanical aspect of the software. This part, called Application Customization Toolkit (ACT), consists in allowing the client to access the commands of the software to develop his own specific tools. These tools could also be developed by ANSYS Lyon on the clients command.
  
  ● Realizations / Activities:
  After a formation on ANSYS software and some works on manipulating Python programming language, I had to develop a specific mechanical tool on ACT for Snecma company.
  I delivered a complete and ready to use tool based on technical specification defined together with the client, Snecma.
  
  ● Personal improvement:
  Rapid adaptation of a new discipline.
  Apprehension of a new programming language : Python.
  Efficient communication with the other developer to combine our work.
  My strong social skills and understanding of management provide me with good working relationships.

• Projet solidaire et autofinancé au profit d'un orphelinat au Bénin. - Coorganisateur

  2011 - 2012 ● Context of the project:
  Savaloulou is a humanitarian project for the benefit of an orphanage in Benin that I co-founded together with nine other members of the association Lézarts of which I was chairman at the time. We were in contact with the local NGO ‘Aide et Solidarité’ and raised a total budget of 22 000 €.
  
  ● Nine months of preparation:
  Fund-raising (contest, sponsoring, crowd funding)
  Team management & Coordination (transportation of material to Benin, design of a solar furnace)

  ● Six weeks on site:
  Construction of an - easy to reproduce - solar furnace
  Installation of gutters and a water tank
  Miscellaneous construction works
  Distribution of donations (tools, clothes, books, games…)

  ● Context of the company:
  Thales Underwater Systems is a subsidiary of the Thales Group which is an international defence manufacturer specialized in sonar systems and communication systems for submarines and warships.
  
  ● Context of the project:
  As being an engineer is about managing other people who have a different formation and job, at the end of the first year of INSA I did an internship as a worker.
  
  ● Realizations / Activities:
  By performing different tasks and communicating with the workers, I got an idea of the issues and concerns faced by the labour force and the discrepancy between the engineer’s and the worker’s vision.
  
  ● Personal improvement:
  An introduction to the defence sector at the leading edge of technology.
  My good social skills help me to easily communicate with different kinds of employees.
