- Packaging and Planning Manager
2006 - 2015- Responsible for any new packaging development (from primary packaging to pallet) linked with the new product from R&D department. Responsible for material selecting. Work with marketing, purchasing, production and quality managers and teams, to reach the best result in the best timing with the right cost.
- Responsible with engineering manager of associated packaging machines selecting.
- Responsible for new packaging tech transfer, and during 3 months after launch.
- Responsible for any packaging optimisation of existing, for better convenience, quality, productivity, or for saving. For this last one, full technical support to purchasing manager.
- Creation and checking packaging documentations (technical specification, drawings, regulatory documents …).
- Implementation of a global packaging specification system.
- Technical monitoring of packaging suppliers.
- Responsible of packaging technology watch (from suppliers or competitors, market tendencies …).
- Work as a team leader for all packaging project.
- Responsible for production planning: to manage all quantities to produce of different products, depending of stocks, sales forecasts, raw material availability, and any production organisation parameters.
- Responsible of planning system optimisation, in an economic way.
- Linked with 1 operational person for daily work.

- Packaging Engineer
St Jean d’Avelanne2003 - 2006- Technical support (including all trials on production line) for new packaging components development (essentially for Symbicort pMDI, major product of the company), linked with the R&D centre (based in UK).
- Technical support for packaging component optimisation (essentially for Turbuhaler system).
- Support for tech transfer from R&D centre.
- Technical support for packaging lines.
- Work with purchasing, quality and production managers and teams.
- Creation and updating of packaging specifications.
- Technical monitoring of packaging suppliers.
- Teal leader for 2 international teams (EU and USA), for some component development (regulatory text, marketing aspect …).
AstraZeneca Reims
- Responsible for Industrial Project
St Jean d’Avelanne2002 - 2003- Rationalisation of all blisters from the plant.
- Work directly with production and engineering teams on packaging lines.
- Work as a team leader of this project, composed of production, maintenance, finance, purchasing, quality, and planning managers.
- Creation of a specific optimisation program for blisters, working with some parameters (number and size of tablets essentially), and giving trough defined rules the list of possibilities using standard format, by optimisation order.
- Winning project of the AstraZeneca international challenge « AstraZeneca Operation Challenge Award 2003 », due to this result:
- Some invest in tools on packaging lines, but with a very good payback.
- Saving packing materials: 8-14 %
- Improvement of line efficiency : 3% gain of productivity
- Decreasing of manpower extra cost (additional hours)
- Postpone (3 years) invest of a full new packing line
