    Sophia Antipolis 2015 - 2015 Hired by Sophia Conseil as Design & Research Engineer, I was allocated to the Mechanical Engineering Office of Cap d'Ail (France-Monaco border). My mission was to provide a technical support for the various Monaco-based customers of Sophia Conseil:

    SINGLE BUOY MOORINGS (SBM Offshore):
    • Technical follow-up of mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment’s suppliers for the PRELUDE FLNG Turret Mooring System project (Shell/TSC).
    • Monitoring and follow-up of vendor’s technical documentation.
    • Site assistance for the mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment’s integration & commissioning activities.

    MECAPLAST:
    • Detailed design lead, ensuring manufacturing feasibility and compliance with customer’s esthetics & technical requirements, for the project A4935 (PSA).
    • Detailed design lead, ensuring manufacturing feasibility and compliance with customer’s esthetics & technical requirements, for the project H60B (Nissan).
  • SBM Offshore - Lead Designer/package engineer

    SCHIEDAM 2014 - 2015 Hired by SBM as Package Engineer in the Mechanical Equipment department, awarded to the PRELUDE FLNG TMS project (Shell/TSC).
    SBM Offshore was contracted to engineer, procure, build & install the complete TMS for the FLNG Facility.
    My mission was to:
    • Monitor mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic design activities.
    • Write technical Specifications in line with project requirements, international codes & standards
    • Manage interfaces with others engineering disciplines (meca, STR, piping, E&I, SLP...)
    • Provide Technical expertise, Bidder's offers management, vendor follow-up
    • Follow-up of Vendor technical documentation.
    • Attend & monitor the Factory Acceptance Tests
    • Provide Site assistance for equipment’s integration & commissioning activities.

    Sophia Antipolis 2010 - 2013 Hired by Sophia Conseil (06 - Sophia Antipolis), in technical support at SBM Offshore offices as Lead Designer in the Mechanical Equipment department, mainly awarded to the PRELUDE FLNG TMS project (Shell/TSC). I was also involved as Mechanical Designer on other projects such as QUAD204 (BP), ASGARD (Statoil) and TUPI (Petrobras).

    My mission was to:
    • Manage the design of mechanical, hydraulics & pneumatics packages and ensure manufacturing feasibility & technical compliance with project requirements
    • Issue general arrangement & details drawings
    • Manage the design of Mechanical Equipments on the main 3D model (Aveva PDMS, Navisworks)
    • Lead the Handling Study (responsible for the interface with engineering disciplines, write the handling procedures & philosophy, lifting & travelling devices study report) (Aveva PDMS, Aveva Reality Review)

    2007 - 2010 Silvatrim Group is a leader in thermoplastic profiled and injection molded decorative parts in thermoplastics & composite materials for the automotive industry.
    After my training period & an interim mission I did for the company, I've been hired as project package lead designer.

    Scope of work:
    - preliminary design studies for customers RFQs (catia V5)
    - detailed design lead (catia V5): ensure compliance with project standards and customer's esthetics & technical requirements (environment, mechanical interface, design life, manufacturing feasability..)
    - manage the 3D model life (files exchange with customer, update interface models..)
    - issue detailed & manufacturing drawings (catia v5, AutoCad)
