After a French degree in Industrial Engineering, I've decided to follow another path and achieve a MSc in International Events and Festivals Management at the University of Central Lancashire (Preston, UK). See the course description here: http://www.uclan.ac.uk/courses/msc_pgdip_international_festivals_and_event_management.php
My objective by achieving this MSc is to work in the Events Industry, and use the skills learnt in Logistics and Project Management through my degree to provide a service of quality in event planning. My personal reward and motivation is to see attendees' delight and excitement.
I organized events during my degree, up to 1000 people, and I have always been attracted by the 'backstage' of any show. Hence I have notions in lights, sounds and stage techniques and volunteered a couple of years in a concert hall. I recently worked few months in the Hospitality field in Brighton (UK), and this opportunity gave me an insight of this highly events related area, as well as the meaning of customer service. The MSc i'm now attending completes this industrial awareness.
I plan to stay at least one more year in UK after my MSc; however, I am open to any opportunity of work all over the world, preferably Europe. I speak fluently French, Spanish and English, and think of learning Portuguese or Dutch after my master.
