    Montréal 2015 - maintenant As part of the Flight Characteristics group in Core Engineering, responsible for the support to Flight Test and the liaison with the Design Office for Control Laws and Stability and Control. Coordinate the resolution of cross-functional findings with internal and external systems suppliers.
    • Support CS100/CS300/G7000 Development and Certification Flight Test Programs from a Flight Characteristics standpoint. Great knowledge of Flight Test environment and processes: test requirements, hazard analysis, safety, telemetry support and test execution.
    • Responsible for analyzing Control Laws Performance during Flight Testing, identifying potential deficiencies and driving the implementation of design improvements in order to meet company or certification requirements.
    • Extensive use of MATLAB/Simulink environment for control system analyses and computations of predicted aircraft handling behavior.
    • Coordinate the resolution of cross-functional findings with external systems suppliers (Air Data, Fly-by-Wire System, WAI system, High Lift, Avionics). Good knowledge of the related aircraft systems.
    • Joint troubleshooting work with interfacing core aircraft disciplines (Advanced Aero, Loads and Dynamics, Stress).
    • Good experience with FAA / EASA / TCCA regulations. Documented and presented certification findings to authorities during review meetings or as part of company certification reporting.
  • Bombardier Aerospace - Aircraft Integrator, Control Laws and Stability & Control, CSeries Program

    Montréal 2013 - 2015 As part of the Aircraft Configuration Work Package, employed in a multidisciplinary team of aircraft level technical integrators. Responsible for the fully augmented Fly-by-Wire Control Laws.
    • Responsible for the adequate integration of the Control Laws system at the aircraft level, ensuring appropriate compatibility and performance with several interfacing aircraft systems, including Fly-by-Wire system, Avionics and Air Data.
    • Acted as coordinator to resolve Flight Sciences challenges from an aircraft level perspective, evaluating impacts, leverages and tradeoffs on the various disciplines.
    • Involved in several cycles of Control Laws redesigns aimed at meeting the level of maturity required. Supported the analyses of Control Laws shortfalls through desktop / simulator testing or industry benchmarks, the definition of design modifications and their implementation.
    • Accountable towards Program management for execution and schedule. Presented executive summaries during readiness reviews and other program milestones.
  • Bombardier Aerospace - Wind Tunnel Test Lead

    Montréal 2011 - 2013 Led a wide variety of Wind Tunnel Test campaigns for the CSeries and Global 7000/8000 programs, including High and Low Speed Aerodynamics (NASA, ONERA, NRC), Handling Qualities (NRC), Icing (NASA) and Aeroacoustics (DLR).
    • Acted as technical lead for tests definition, preparation and execution, in close collaboration with internal customers and external suppliers (model and/or system manufacturers, test facilities).
    • Responsible for ensuring the overall test setup (type of facility, model, instrumentation, data accuracy) meets the intended company objective.
    • Managed teams of test engineers / technicians and was accountable for test planning and budget.
    • Involved in R&D activities: innovative test techniques (Pressure Sensitive Paint, Model Deformation Measurement), acoustic footprint of a full-size landing gear (GARDN).

    Paris 2008 - 2009 Within a small and cross-functional team of engineering consultants, supported and led short term assignments aimed at enhancing industrial competitiveness through product cost reduction and continuous process improvement.
    • Carried out missions for leading customers in the transportation and electrical sectors.
    • Applied methodologies such as Value Analysis, (Re)Design to Cost and reverse costing, Lean Manufacturing, improved Supply Chain.

    • Implemented products re-designs and met cost reduction targets. Streamlined suppliers’ manufacturing processes and costs, saving a projected €2.5 million on train interiors.
